I started Tiny Grey almost ten years ago as a way to put smiles on people’s faces. Since then, my aim hasn’t changed, and I love illustrating prints that make people happy.

The Happy Print Project is a tiny initiative where I would like to share some little nuggets of happiness whenever I can.

How Does The Happy Print Project Work?

Over the next month, I’m asking for people to nominate a special person (that can be themselves, a family member, a friend, a colleague etc.) who deserves a little bit of joy to come their way.

The winner will receive a free bespoke portrait of the nominee (featuring their head and shoulders), just like the portraits here.

On 3th September 2022, the winner will be chosen at random and notified via email. All they then need to do is send me a photograph of their nominee and UK postal address, and I will illustrate them.

​The artwork will be lovingly printed on A3 matt paper and posted to an address of your choice (anywhere in the UK), free of charge.

If you aren’t selected this time around, you can always resend your nomination when the next chapter of The Happy Print Project opens.

Terms & Conditions

• The competition is open to applicants all over the world, however postage can only be covered when sending to mainland UK.
• The artwork will be unframed and will be A3 paper size (297mm x 420mm).
• The closing date to enter is midnight (GMT) on the 2nd August 2022.
• The happy print will be dispatched within 4 weeks of the winner being announced.
• The winner will be chosen at random on the 3rd August 2022. On the same day, the winner will be informed using the email they have provided to enter the competition, and a social post will be made live on the Tiny Grey Facebook and Instagram pages. 
• If the winner does not respond within 24 hours of being notified as the winner by email, a new winner will be chosen and notified at the earliest possible time via the email they have provided to enter the competition.
• Applicants must be over the age of 18 years old.
• Only one entry per person, per competition will be counted.
• Postage and packaging will be complimentary to anywhere in mainland UK. Unfortunately postage to any UK Islands or abroad will need to be covered by the winner (or they may choose to decline the prize). In the event that the winner declines the prize, a new winner will be chosen and notified at the earliest possible time via email.
• The happy print artwork is non-refundable and non-transferable. 
• If the artwork arrives to your chosen address damaged, please email hello@tinygrey.co.uk including an image showing the damage. A replacement will then be given at the discretion of The Artist, Sophie Scott-Lewis.
• Entrants' contact details will be held in accordance with the Tiny Grey Privacy Policy. 
• Further details on Tiny Grey's standard Terms and Conditions can be found here. 
• All entrants can have their details removed from Tiny Grey's database by contacting hello@tinygrey.co.uk or via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
• If entrants request to have their details removed from Tiny Grey's database before the end of the competition, they will no longer be eligible to claim the prize.
• Further details on how entrants' contact details will be stored and used can be found in Tiny Grey's Privacy Policy.
• These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
• All copyright of the happy print will remain with the artist, Sophie Scott-Lewis.
