I'm Sophie (aka Tiny Grey).

I entered the world of illustration and graphic design over 15 years ago.

My drawings were made popular during my wedding, where I illustrated mini portraits of each wedding guest as a gift. Within a few days, I began receiving portrait requests from friends, family, and even further afield. With growing interest, I decided to start a small side-business, offering bespoke portraits. This side business was the beginning of Tiny Grey.

Since the wedding, I've had the opportunity to work with some wonderful clients including the BBC, Amazon, NHS, and the University of the Arts, but my absolute favourites are people wanting a piece of art for their (or a loved one's) home. 

Career highlights include: having work published in British Vogue and illustrating for, the one and only, Sir Paul McCartney.

Nine years on, and Tiny Grey is a growing independent illustration and graphic design studio in the small town of Tewkesbury, in Gloucestershire, offering bespoke family portraits, nursery art, wedding stationery, and graphic design (including logo design, branding, brochure design and more).

Alongside Tiny Grey, I'm a wife, and mum to two young children, so spare time is a luxury these days. When I do get time to myself, I love climbing mountains in Scotland and drawing with my children.
